  • Dry Spell

Well, my dry spell in blogging is over.  Today was my last day in a job that I have had for just over 5 years.  The demise of said job started almost exactly one year ago when the family owned business was bought out by an investment firm in California.

That is all I will have to say about that until the severance package is deposited in the bank.

There is a strange sense of freedom that is clearing the building stress that accompanied each day there.

Now on to the next gig.  I am going to enjoy every day between jobs and greet each one as a gift.  The money should last long enough for the right opportunity to make itself clear.  My life is not my own and I am clear that God is in control.  He will do with me as he wishes and my prayer right now is for Him to make His plans clear to me and for me to NOT get in the way.  I have a way of doing that from time to time by doing what I want rather than listening and following His plan.  Yes, I am human!

The better half is taking it all in stride and has not shown any signs of anxiety as of yet.  I am told by others that she is not hiding any fear from me which is comforting.  That is soo coool.
